Why it works

πŸ”—
Your own partner portalA personal link to manage listings, update availability, adjust rates, and see which jobs your kit is on. No login to remember.
πŸ“¦
You stay in controlMark items unavailable any time β€” kit in for repair, away for a few weeks, or just not available. No penalty, no questions.
πŸ›‘οΈ
We front the client relationshipClients deal with Demo Ltd β€” we handle all the back-and-forth, contracts, and expectations. You're a behind-the-scenes partner, so your kit gets the exposure without the inbox. And if a job does need you involved, we'll brief you properly and be right alongside you.
πŸ”
Transparent to the pennyYou set your rates, we agree them. Every remittance shows exactly what went out and what you're owed.
🀝
A proper working relationshipWe're a small team in the industry. We'll know your kit, call before jobs, and treat you like a partner β€” not a supplier number.
⚑
PAT testing sortedAll mains-powered kit needs to be PAT tested β€” if yours isn't, we can arrange it as part of onboarding. Items we've tested get a certified badge on the hire site, which clients notice, especially on corporate and event work.
πŸ“‹
Your kit, trackedEvery item you list gets logged in our asset management system β€” service history, PAT records, job history, current location. You get full visibility through your partner portal, and your gear is always accounted for.
🏷️
Exclusive rates when you hire from usAs a community partner you get preferential rates on our own hire inventory β€” useful when a job needs something you don't own, or you want to top up a rig without the full outlay.

Common questions

What kind of kit do you take on?

Primarily professional audio and lighting β€” PA speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, mixers, moving lights, LED fixtures, haze machines, stands, cabling. Kit needs to be in reliable working order and, where mains-powered, PAT tested. Not sure if yours fits? Apply or drop us a message and we'll be straight with you.

What percentage do I receive?

The standard split is 80% of your kit's hire rate to you, with 20% retained by Demo Ltd β€” covering admin, platform, and handling costs. Your rate is agreed upfront at onboarding and shown on every remittance. No hidden deductions.

Does my kit need to be PAT tested?

Yes β€” all mains-powered equipment needs a valid PAT certificate. If you don't have one, we can arrange PAT testing as an add-on service. Items tested by Demo Ltd get a certified badge on the hire site, which clients respond well to for corporate and event work.

Who sorts delivery and collection?

You do. We confirm job details and coordinate timing with you in advance β€” you arrange getting the kit to the right place. For some jobs we have our own transport running and we'll flag if your kit can come along.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. List what you like, withdraw what you like, take a break any time. We just ask for reasonable notice when kit becomes unavailable so we don't commit it to a confirmed job.

What if something gets damaged?

All hires run under our standard terms. We'll walk through the damage and liability policy at onboarding β€” it's designed to be fair and clear, not to catch anyone out.
